The brief

Client background and requirements

Sutton-on-the-Hill Village Hall needed an approachable website that could serve the local community, promote the hall and make useful information easy to find. Volunteers also needed practical control over frequently changing content.

The challenge

Problems the website needed to solve

Community information, events and hall availability needed to be presented clearly in one place. The site also had to make booking enquiries and ongoing updates manageable for volunteers without requiring them to edit code.

The solution

Design and development approach

The website was structured around common visitor tasks, with clear routes to local information, events and bookings. Bespoke administration tools were developed so authorised editors could maintain content, calendars, galleries and booking information directly.
